Today was all about baking – Wendie and I have found that we have a knack for all things yeasty and tasty after seeing several seasons of the British Baking Show. That's why we reclaimed about $ 10 from our weekly food budget by starting to bake our own sandwich bread. It is not difficult and the kids seem to love it.
In other news, we will eventually squat for the winter and have several projects on the radar, so everything runs smoothly. This means winterizing the bees, chickens and guinea fowl, cleaning the garden beds and keeping an eye on firewood consumption.
It is a beautiful season and we are happy to share it with you!
