The part-time admission form of the School of Continuing Education (SCE) of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) for the 2018/2019 session has been announced. Applications from appropriately qualified candidates for admission to the following part-time courses for the academic session 2018/2019 are therefore welcome:

BUK Part-time Admission Requirements
Applicants for admission to the programs must fulfill the following conditions:
- They have recognized advanced level qualifications in areas relevant to the programs. These qualifications include the National Diploma (ND), the Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE), the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) (at least 6 credits), the Nursing Certificate, the Diploma in Health Education, the Diploma in Community Health and the Diploma in Environmental Health, General Education Certificate (GCE), and all other equivalent and relevant qualifications.
- You must have at least five O-level credits in relevant subjects, including English.
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- In addition, applicants for B.Sc accounting, B.Sc business, B.Sc mathematics, B.Sc mathematics (Ed) and B.Sc economics (Ed) must obtain evidence of performance in the O-level feature. while candidates for B.Nursing Science and B.Sc. Health education must have credits in English language, math, biology, chemistry and physics
Applicants with an "O" qualification level will not be considered.
Mode and duration of the programs
The programs should be carried out part-time. Classes are held in regular lectures and hands-on sessions held at evenings and weekends at the School of Continuing Education (SCE) at Bayero University on the Aminu Kano Way near Gwauron Dutse Hill in Kano City. The programs are not executed in ODL mode (Open and Distance Learning).
Admission is only by Direct entry (level 200), The duration of the program is five years.
How to apply for the BUK Part-Time Admission Form
Go to the Bayero University website and click on the Part-time Application Exercise link. On the 2018/2019 Part-time application exercise Click the Register tab in the left navigation pane to go to the Create Account page.
(Create Account)Create an account on the account creation page by entering your Jamb No, study program, personal email address, and personal GSM phone number. Select your password and click the Create Account button. A username is automatically generated for you. Make a note of the username and password you need for the subsequent steps in the application process. Please also make a note of the e-mail address and the GSM number you provided when creating the account, as these are used together with the username to restore a forgotten password.
(Log in) Return to the login page and log in with your username and password to complete the different sections of your application process.
(Program selection) Choose additional programs for which you are applying.
(Update profile) Provide personal information, sponsorship information, and information about the closest relatives.
(O / A Levels Qualifications) Specify your qualifications for the O / A levels, update them, and note that the O levels do not exceed 2 sessions and the A levels do not exceed 3 settings.
(Schools & Qualifications) If you specify the schools / colleges attended and the academic qualifications you have acquired, you can specify a maximum of 3 (three) schools / colleges and a maximum of 3 (three) academic qualifications.
(Job information) Indicate whether you are employed or not. If you are employed, enter your current employment data, employer, position and appointment date.
(Additional information) Provide additional information including a maximum of 3 researches and a maximum of 3 publications.
(BUK Personalized Payment Form (BUKPPF)) Generate your BUK Personalized Payment Form (BUKPPF). The BUKPPF contains information required for payment via the Remita e-Payments platform. See the payment methods Documentation for a detailed look at the payment process.
(Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) used) After successful BUKPPF generation and use of the Remita e-Payments platform (www.remita.net) A RRR number (Remita Retrieval Reference) will be generated for you. The RRR clearly binds your payment to your application account after you sign in to your application account and processes your payment by clicking Check Payment Status.
(Confirmation / application form) After your payment has been confirmed, you can print out your confirmation / registration form. Note that only those who have printed the application form will be admitted for admission. Keep your application form well. The form is required when collecting the registration certificates and when registering.

You must complete steps 1 through 10 before you can make the payment.
Your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number is very important. You need to make sure that you cite it correctly, whenever and wherever you use it.
