Kanye West He once worked with Louis Vuitton and has recently transformed adidas into a lifestyle empire. His sportswear began, however, when it came to getting its own signature, which led to storage and resales at ridiculous prices Nike,
While West released the Nike Air Yeezy 1 and the Air Yeezy 2 in three color variations, the Swoosh and the Jumpman were packed with samples that never came on the shelves.
See below what we're talking about in the story of the unpublished Kanye x Nike kicks.
Nike Air Max 180 Kanye West sample
Presumably when the deal with Nike failed for the Yeezy 1 and certainly at the time he was reciting "Classic" for the Air Force 1 anniversary campaign, a Dropout Bear Nike Air Max 180 popped up.
Once seen on the feet of Kanye himself, the shoe wore the spirit of the Metropop iD program with loud color blockages enhanced by thematic tongue markings.
Nike Air Huarache 08 "Lights in the dark"
It is known to wear retro and running shoes Nike Air Huarache 08 would have been the perfect match shoe for Mr. West on tour. It was against this background that Nike made the flagship team shoe of the time in pop colors for the West.
While Kanye herself was never seen in them, Wale once had a couple.
Air Jordan 6 Donda West
In homage to Kanye's deceased mother, the Air Jordan 6 Donda West wore personal nods to his biggest inspiration.
Never released, the shoe has only surfaced a few times, and Don C has previously released a pair.
Nike Air Yeezy 1 "Grammy's"
At the 2008 Grammy Awards Kanye West debuted the Nike Air Yeezy in an emotional performance that paid tribute to his mother Donda. At the time, details of what this shoe was and whether it would ever come to market were completely unknown.
This pair proved to be an early model promotion of the now famous Air Yeezy, which Ye once again wore on his appearance at Nike's Human Race event. There he gave the world the first preview of "Love Lockdown".
As the nature of this feature implies, this color has never been officially published. This couple has a slightly different story to most other make-up than it was auctioned off.
This couple, listed in September 2009, raised money for the Doernbecher Children's Hospital Similar to the annual collection we see. It should also be noted that the proceeds from the published Air Yeezy 1 colorways go to Kanye's Loop Dreams Foundation.
Nike Air Yeezy 1 Charcoal / Fire Red
It was previously said that the Nike Air Yeezy has created the category "Performer" signature as opposed to "Performance" signature (props by DJ Clark Kent). During Kanye's Glow In The Dark Tour, Air Yeezy equipped him for most of his stops and became the first Nike signature shoe for an artist as opposed to an athlete.
This Charcoal / Fire Red pattern was worn by West and serves as one of the first make-up Ye has discovered on stage. The color scheme culminated in his stage robe and was in many ways sportier than the published rates. The first shots of this shoe definitely served as an internet breaking moment and added steam to the still unpublished model. Years later, Kanye even canceled them for a performance of "Mercy" in 2012.
Nike Air Yeezy 1 / Air Jordan 6 "Cup"
Fans of Celebrity Sneaker Stalker Knows how much Kanye likes the Air Jordan 6. Two of its most worn silos collided for a good cause Nike Air Yeezy 1 / Air Jordan 6 "Cup" mash up.
This pair was auctioned for charity in the same way as the "Grammys" color and placed the AJ6 outsole under the shaft of a triple black Yeezy, which consists of leather, suede and paint. An orange lace lock emphasized this edition, which was limited to only one pair ever made and auctioned.
Nike Air Yeezy 1 Black / Challenge Red
In the rarely worn and rarely seen category of Yeezy 1 patterns, this color is in Black / Challenge Red.
Allegedly flaunted by Kanye West herself, this pair brings a Chicago color to the strapped signature. The dark glowing sole appears to be intact in this episode, while the ballistic net replaces the perforated leather on the upper fairing. This example also shows an asymmetric heel tag.
Nike Air Yeezy 1 "Make Hatfield"
Tinker Hatfield's CV as a designer is well documented, but it seems that his ability as a collector is also on a different level.
MJ's assistant has tied up a number of Kanye's PE signatures right at the beginning of the release. This color is reminiscent of the "Zen Gray" make-up, which officially launched the rollout, and features a university blue laser-engraved bracelet.
Nike Air Yeezy 1 Zen Gray / Neon Challenge Red
Kanye explained during the Yeezus Listening Party that the original concept of the Yeezy was to offer the materials and colors of a luxury shoe like Lanvin at a cheaper price.
Nike and West supplied such a shoe on release, but definitely kept it more sporty on the designs. This unpublished pair of Zen Gray and Challenge Red looks sportier. A video review of this example of Sir sneaker is still visible.
Nike Air Yeezy 1 "GLC"
OG G.O.O.D. music Member GLC stole the sneaker spotlight at SXSW in 2009 by rocking an unpublished pair of completely black Yeezy 1s.
Although the color blocking was reminiscent of the Grammy color, this pair placed a laser-detailed strap on the upper while blending leather and nubuck. A light green lace closure and a translucent sole cap complete this unpublished color.
Nike Air Yeezy 1 White / White University Blue
This example may have the least meaningful color code, but provides insight into the level of detail that was created when the release-ready model was created Air Yeezy 1,
The color palette comes close to the "Zen Gray" make-up, but it lacks the material depth and the Kanye-specific labeling.
Nike Air Yeezy 1 Net / Gray-Pink
This unpublished version plays more in the luxury and high-fashion format Yes, 1 Probe is still a bit of a puzzle.
Belongs Mark FatlaceThis color scheme is similar to the "Net" make-up, but is distinguished by a silk scarf tongue lining and a two-color midsole.
Nike Air Yeezy 1 "All-Glow"
Long after the release of the Nike Air Yeezy 1, Nike's Tiffany Beers surprised Nike's sneakerheads by breaking a glowing pattern of Kanye signature at the Nike MAG 2011 unveiling event.
Luxurious lining and a neutral base give this pair a regal look by day while the entire upper and sole shine as the lights go out.
Nike Air Yeezy 2 "My beautiful, dark, twisted fantasy"
While many fans of Kanye and Nike wanted a sequel to beloved Yeezy 1, no-one felt guaranteed.
Enter the Nike Air Yeezy 2, Introduced by Kanye West in a Kobe Bryant commercial, the silo was upgraded and inspired by the Nike Air Tech Challenge II. However, this color was never officially released.
Worn by Ye on the streets of Paris and on the stage by Coachella, this black-and-white rendition reflected the "Grammy" rate in color-blocking.
This pair also has an album-inspired tongue shield on the lining, pictured on IG pictures of Cyhi the Prynce,
Nike Air Yeezy 2 "Cheetah"
Kanye and Kobe are friends and fans of each other. West appeared regularly in Kobe commercials and participated in Lakers games while Bryant watched Kanye's recording of the "Power" remix in the studio.
Their then-usual Nike tie swung on the Nike Air Yeezy 2 "Cheetah" example, A purplish and flaky disguise reminiscent of Kobe's Christmas kicks, kept wild with red laces, Volt markings, and a glowing sole. This pair was rebuilt in a custom way, but it is not known how many sample pairs actually exist.
Recently, PJ Tucker took this rarity out of the archive for the KITH Fashion Show. Years ago, Easy Otabor claimed that the Kobe should originally wear this in the all-star game.
Nike Air Yeezy 2 "Oreo"
Discovered in a mysterious catalog next to the images "Pure Platinum" and "Black / Solar Red" "Oreo" Yeezy 2 still remains unpublished and eerie.
While the released versions of the Yeezy 2 were inspired directly by the Yeezy 1, in this episode of "Oreo" hints from the Air Jordan franchise with creative color blocking can be found.
Nike Air Yeezy 2 "VMA"
Around the time of Watch the throne and Cruel summerKanye West was on stage, playing awards and festivals alike. While Kanye entered the VMA stage with Jay Z in the "Pure Platinum" color of the Yeezy 2, another pair seems to have been prepared for the same event.
Fur-lined and made of luxurious leather VMA Yeezy 2 He wore a brown palette that was probably meant to adorn himself with a white sole and a glowing finish, possibly the last Nike Yeezy ever made.
