I I feel like I invented the coffee station. I mean, I'm sure I did not do that to invent it, ha, but I've shared my coffee stations since there was no Instagram, so that must count for something! I felt like I was ahead of the curve here.
Now that everyone has a coffee station, I thought I would confuse it and give it oil"Coffee station a festive new name. Cozy Sips Station was the best thing I could do. Sounds festive? (Maybe I stole that name from somewhere, I have no idea.) But we'll keep it up. A Cozy Sips station sounds like a place where I want to hang out all the fall and winter.
True confessions. Sometimes I try to stop the coffee and be a tea drinker. I tried, I should say. I want to love tea. I like the taste of some teas. But apparently I can not stop the coffee. Not because I'm addicted to it. I'm not. I drink a cup a day or less. Caffeine does not seem to affect me as much as other people, but at Hashimotos, I wonder if it might be a good idea to avoid coffee (I heard it). This causes me to taste tea!
I drink coffee because it's so cozy to drink it. I love the smell of freshly brewed coffee. I love the taste and the whole ritual of drinking coffee. Creating a special station for the daily ritual makes it a special experience.
I know that if I want to be a tea drinker, all I have to do is start a new tea drinking ritual. My husband drinks tea, so maybe I have to make it our daily tea date!
Tell me which tea I have to drink to make myself a tea lover? Is there a secret for good tea? Which teas do you like? I like tea, I'm just not obsessed with it, so tell me your ways!
I want to be a tea drinker.
Here are some inspirational ideas for coffee stations from my home and the homes of my daughters (Kylee and Courtney) in this post. You will see my coffee stations a few times with different style. Hopefully you will find some ideas that could inspire you!
The selection of the cup for our coffee has always been part of our morning ritual. It is also a fun tradition for guests.
Scroll to the end of the post for information on styling sources for coffee stations and a cute summary of the cups! This homebody mug calls my name.
I do not have my big espresso machine left in my kitchen (it needs fixing), but I used this little one Stove percolator espresso machine for a few years now and it makes delicious coffee (use a coarsely ground organic high quality coffee!)! If you have a small kitchen, this is a good option.
It's also fun to have coffee stations for different rooms in your home. The one above was in my old office!
