On this episode of CleverAmy and Jaime talk to the illustrator Abbey Lossing, who grew up in the Midwest, drawing as a favorite pastime and influence of a grandmother who was a portrait painter. With high school, she began to take drawing seriously, which led to a concentrated college degree in illustration. She was always attracted to the freelance lifestyle and prepared for success by first working as a "real work" for two years before becoming self-employed. Here she tells how she got her professional base.
