Patience in Islam
Patience is the key to success. One of the good qualities of a character is patience and perseverance. The patient’s success is assured because Allah is with the patient. And Allah Rabbul Alamin’s success is with him. Patience strengthens faith. The quest for human character is the key to Islam.
Regarding the importance of patience, Allah says in the Holy Quran: “In times of great need, people are indeed losers, but they are not those who believe and do good deeds and advise each other with truth and exhort patience.” [Surah Asr, Ayat: 1-3]
What is patience in Islam?
The Arabic of patience is “Chhabar”. Don’t be impatient for the immediate results of your efforts, and delay is called patience without losing heart.
Patience is one of the most important things for Akida. Instability cannot be expressed when it comes to life. The success of patience is assured because Allah is with patience; And Allah Almighty will be with whom His success will be determined. The consequences of patience are admirable. Allah helps the patient, the great. Imam Ahmad Rahh said: “Allah speaks of patience in 90 places in the Holy Quran.”
In all the hardships and dangers of life, Allah directed Ta’ala to seek help through prayer and patience. Because that is the well-being of people. Allah Ta’ala reports that He is with the patient. Allah says, “O you who believe! Seek help through patience and prayer. Verily, Allah is with the patient.” [Al-Baqara, Ayah: 153]
The advantages of patience are many. Imam Zainul Abedin (r) tells a hadith about the dignity and virtue of the patient. Imam Ibn Kasir mentions the hadith in his Tafsir. “On the day of resurrection, a proclamator will explain:” Where are you patient, you are going to paradise without being heard? A group of people will go to heaven when they hear the announcement. The angels will say, “Who are you? Where are they going?” You will say, “We are patient.” Go to paradise.
The angels will say, “Not considered yet.” The patient servants will say, “We have been instructed to go to paradise before our settlement.” Then the angels will say, “Then you are a very honorable servant. Tell us about the process by which it has had splendid results. They will say:” We have lived patiently in the life of this world.
I have experienced many sacrifices and dangers when I have followed the path of Allah and obeyed Allah. We sometimes miss that – I didn’t complain, I always knew patience. The angels will say, “Marhaba!” You are the real reward of your actions. ” [Ibn Kasir’s] Allah Almighty says: “Patients will be rewarded for free.” [Surah Zumar: 10]
We usually have the patience not to be distracted by the dangers and disasters
I think so. Basically, patience is very important. There are three types of patience. Namely:
1. Wrong – to refrain from crimes.
2. Don’t be in danger.
3. Worship is obedience to Allah and hard work.
[ Tafsir Bayjavi ]
If a person is patient in the above sense, abundance and success in their life are acceptable.
Reward for patience in the Quran

Rewarding patience in the hadith
Ibn Kasir (R) said: “It is reasonable to be patient without being disappointed with the dangers. Hadith Sharif said:” The Prophet (peace be upon him) did not despair when he was in trouble. He would be in prayer immediately. ” [Ibn Kassir]
Dear Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) hid in the Gurule (Sur Mountains) on the way to Medina Sharif when he emigrated from Mecca Sharif. So insured. In the Qur’an it says: “If you don’t help him, Allah will help him when the unbelievers drive him out, and he’s the second of the two when they’re both in the cave. Then she said to her companion:” “Make yourself don’t worry, Allah is with us. “
