The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is just the place for family-friendly fun. This 5-star hotel not only treated us as a king during our stay, but the affordable off-season summer rates could also tempt us to make this resort an annual summer tradition.
arrived on Fairmont Scottsdale Princess after a short
1.5 hour flight from the Bay Area (always appreciated when flying with it
young and oh so energetic.) After a 20 minute drive to Scottsdale we arrived
the royal entrance of Fairmont Scottsdale Princess,
The moment we entered the beautiful lobby, it became clear that both
Kids and adults had a great time. The hotel hosts a fun superhero
Theme for the summer, and our kids were excited to pose with the costume
Super heroes who greeted guests at check-in. There was also one
Free photo booth for creating souvenir photos and even dressing cloaks and masks
to take home for children.
With this fun, the resort had an impressively high (and free)
Zip-Line for small (and big) superheroes to test their flies
Competences. My child was very excited to make her first experience with the zip line
I'm sure she will remember forever.
We did not use the hotel Trailblazers Kid's Club during our visit we have

At night we left the children awake after bedtime to see the weekly fireworks display
Show, which was a beautiful and exciting ending of the evening.
Pools at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess are where the whole action is
in summer, and here we wanted to spend the whole day in the
Over 100 temptations from Arizona. (Do not let the hot weather stop you from visiting
the summer, however, because the high temperatures between summer and winter were not an issue
ultra-refreshing pools and powerful resort air conditioning.)
The resort has six sparkling pools, each with a different mood and scene.
To experience action all day, we went to the pool with waterslides, the
offered two surprisingly fast water slides, a DJ with happy sounds and a funny foam
Party, as well as various hosted games.
In a quieter scene we went to the Sunset Pool, which is huge and beautiful
Pool and bar with white sandy beach. Although the scene was less crowded,
There was still a lot going on to entertain everyone, especially at night when the
pool has built a gigantic blow-up movie screen for its "Dive-in" movie night. While
On the day we enjoyed the service by the pool and a few little girl dreams came true

There are other, smaller pools that are scattered throughout the property. So there is always one
Refreshment pool nearby.
Quality of the restaurants in the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess are
impressive, to say the least. In fact, it became obvious that people from all

had an unforgettable meal in the renowned Michael Mina restaurant Bourbon steak.
The kids loved the quick french fries gourmet taster
As a cleverly thought out alternative to the usual, we came to our table
Adults enjoyed perfectly fried steaks and delicious side dishes like smokey
Creamed spinach and horseradish potato puree while the kids were having fun
Scratch-made Mac & Cheese and gourmet hot dog.
Not to be missed restaurant in the resort is the high end La Hacienda.
This provides a lighter, more refined approach to Mexican-American dishes. Not
Do not miss the unique Margaritas and the extensive tequila offer as well as the
freshly prepared guacamole with various toppings and the popular shrimp

Breakfast possibility we found again and again ironwood

happy. Kids loved the donut wall while adults appreciated it
the interesting twists of classics like a Carnitas Eggs Benedict and
SToast with smoked salmon,
So busy at the resort, we found ourselves entertaining to leave the hotel
Property, but there are some notable sights and excursions worth
See if you are in the area long enough.
