Nike Air Force 1 Low VTF First Look

They are finally here. Favorite Daddy's Favorite Uncle Sneaker: The Air Cookout 1. After years of turmoil in the community, Nike gave in and cut out the Air Force 1 heel to create a brand new, sandal-like silhouette.

Nike could have gone overboard with this one. This week, sneaker blogs and Instagram pages were clogged with official images of the new Swoosh Air Force 1 VTF. The new look puts on a black Air Force 1 with golden accents and removes the ankle and heel parts, except for a single strap that connects the two swooshes in the back. The result is a rather strange-looking silhouette that looks more like a pair of crocodiles. The look is a constant joke in the sneaker community about the kind of person wearing black AF 1 and the need for styles that are accessible to all ages, hence the Grillmeister-inspired look. But do not hurry to get your father-in-law's pair. Currently they are only available in children sizes.

The new Slingback iteration of the Air Force 1 Low by Nike is now available exclusively in large kids sizes, unfortunately for the older men in your life. The slimmed-down version of Uptown was comparable to the standard version of Air Force 1 with a retail price of just $ 90. For more information on Nike releases, see the official images below.
