BMW Group Sales of electrified vehicles
Sales of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles of the BMW Group in February 2019 amounted to 1,110. This represents a decline of 42.7 percent compared to 1,936 in the same month of the previous year. The conversion of the current BMW Group to five models, including the BMW i3, the BMW i8 and the i8 Roadster, the BMW 530e and the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle MINI Countryman, was limited by the model conversion. Plug-in hybrid variants of the BMW X5, the new BMW 3 Series and the updated BMW 7 Series will be presented next week at the Geneva International Motor Show. These models and a plug-in hybrid variant of the BMW X3 will go on sale at a later date in the US.

MINI brand distribution
In February, MINI USA recorded 2,679 vehicles sold, down 12.6 percent from 3,065 in the same month last year.

BMW used vehicles

  • The BMW-certified pre-owned sold 8,698 vehicles, down 9.1 percent from February 2018.
  • Overall, BMW sold pre-owned 18,647 vehicles, up 4 percent from February 2018.

MINI used vehicles

  • MINI Certified Pre-Owned sold 914 vehicles, up 6.3 percent from February 2018.
  • In total, MINI Pre-Owned sold 2,181 vehicles, down 2.8 percent from February 2018.
