Audi celebrates ten tens with a real ten. He builds one of them ten. No, I have. They build 222 R8 to celebrate 10 years of V10.

That's right, it's been a decade since Audi started installing a V10 in the R8 sports car. Add to that the Audi R8 V10 Decennium. Which comes from Latin for decades.

The specials are delivered in an exclusive matte daytona gray color. The milled 20-inch wheels will be together with the intake manifold for the large 10 matte bronze. The front spoiler, the side skirts and the diffuser are glossy black and the side blades are made of shiny carbon fiber. If you do not want the graduation, you can choose another color choice.

Inside it is almost completely black. There are shiny carbon inserts and copper contrast stitching to brighten things up a bit. On the center console, the doors and the thresholds are decennium logos.

But that's perhaps the coolest feature: the logo projectors light up the Decennium logo AND the sequential number of each car. Well, that's cool.

So what about the V10? Well, it stays at 5.2 l and makes 620 hp and 478 lb-ft of torque. That means 62 miles per hour in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 206 miles per hour.

The Decennium will go on sale with the rest of the new R8 series. That means this spring. The car starts in Germany from EUR 222,000, but you get a special bronze-colored vehicle cover.
