A suspected car thief in Oregon experienced the worst of all possible fates: while he tried to jack up a vehicle, he somehow managed to get hit by this car. I'm not sure if it's more impressive or hilarious, but it's definitely both.

According to abc news, a police officer from Happy Valley, Oregon, responded shortly before midnight last week to a phone call over a theft of a Honda agreement in 1998. When he went out to investigate the situation, he found her suspect completely in the driver's seat, in a seemingly ridiculous attempt to hide.

It does mean, however, that the suspect, 31-year-old Isaiah John Gellatly was operational. As soon as the officer flashed a light into the Honda, Gellatly began to pull himself up and missed himself as fast as he could. Enter: a chase that deserves the movies.

Other officers were called in to help drop pinstripes on the street where the suspect was suspected. But Gellatly, this absolute madman, was not deterred. He blew everything through stop signs, opposite lanes, and all the spikes that got in his way.

The stripes finally paid off. Gellatly moved into a business complex and found it harder to control the Honda. After running into the police car, the suspect probably recognized that he (my French) was royally fucked. So what does he do?

Easy. He jumps out of the car and tries to get away on foot.

However, he had no influence that his car was still standing To moveTherefore, it is not necessarily the most successful option to run right to flee. Especially when the vehicle is heading straight for a tree and the side of a building.

As it turned out, Gellatly landed under the wheel of the Honda – which turned out to be full of other items that the police believed could have stolen them. Oh man.

Gellatly was treated at a local hospital before being summoned to Clackamas County Prison on suspicion of attempting to evade the police, reckless driving, theft, and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. At the same time it has become a universal symbol of it certainly not to do.
