Chelsea's youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi will allow the club to be loaned out in January to receive more regular Premier League seasons, according to Premier Sports News.

Hudson-Odoi shone in the preseason and took advantage of the late return of the club's World Cup stars to start against Manchester City in the Community Shield

However, he has not managed to go into the starting eleven, only two substitute missions in the Europa League.

Nevertheless, he remains very popular with Stamford Bridge and it is to be hoped that a loan to a Premier League side in January could be the perfect next step in his development.

According to the source mentioned above, the "blues" see him as ripe for football and would rather lend him to a side fighting at the wrong end of the table, with Burnley and Southampton both considered as possible goals for England U19 international.
