The GCE form of the National Examination Council (NECO) for 2019 Has was officially released. The Neco GCE 2019 Testing would start from 19 November 2018 to 19 December 2018.

That's good news for those who asked when Neco Gce form and schedule are published,

NOTE:

  1. Applicants should confirm the specific locations for French, Arabic, shorthand I and IV at the NECO State Office where they are to be examined.
  2. Applicants should come to the specified location along with their computers / laptops for Stenography Paper I & IV.
  3. The Nigerian languages, d. H. Hausa. Igbo and Yoruba include the aspect of literature
  4. The possession of GSM in the examination hall is FORBIDDEN.
  5. The inclusion of a PROGRAMMABLE COMPUTER is not allowed.
  6. BLIND CANDIDATES ARE FOR EXAMINATION IN THE NECO BRANCHES AND TAKE OVER THE BRAILLE SHEET USED.
  7. THE ALBINOS AND BLIND CANDIDATES ARE GIVEN 30 MINUTES EXTRA TIME OVER ALL PAPERS.

NECO GCE News Update

  1. The registration fee will not be refunded after the payment.
  2. The use of reputable internet cafes is strongly recommended, as the Council is not responsible for registration errors committed by applicants. (A list of nationally-proposed cybercafes candidates can sign up for is available on the NECO website – Internet Service Operators – Internet Service Operators) or is issued nationwide at our country offices.
  3. Applicants should carefully follow the instructions on the online scratch card before registering.
  4. Applicants should read the regulations and curricula before registering.
  5. Applicants should note that their uploaded image / photo will be stamped on their certificates during registration.
  6. Smoking, mobile phones and other electronic communication devices are not allowed in the exam room.
  7. Applicants should dress in mufti, and no one is allowed to enter the exam room with arms.
  8. Multiple entries are not allowed. Candidates who register more than once will cancel their entire results.
  9. Candidates who damage or lose their scratch cards before registering will need to buy another card.
  10. Please note that after the beginning of the exam, no candidate may be admitted to a test room.

Application for 2018 NECO GCE.

Online registration:

As usual, registration will be made online through the NECO registration website www.mynecoexams.com

Applicants should note the following:

  • BIOMETRIC FINGERPRINTS WILL BE REGISTERED DURING REGISTRATION.
  • Your finger cots will be recorded correctly during registration.
  • THESE WITH VARIOUS FINGERPRINTS AT THE EXAMINATION WILL NOT BE SITTED FOR EXAMINATION.

The passport photo of the candidates is also required during online registration. The passport photo should NOT be older than six months and must have a white background.

Registration Pin:

The registration PIN is purchased online through the NECO website.

Registration fee:

The NECO GCE form Registration fee is Only eleven thousand, three hundred and fifty naira (N11,350), except fifty naira (N50) Stamp duty. All payments should be made through the NECO website to the NECO Treasury Single Account (TSA) SSCE (E).

NOTE: THE APPLICATION FEE DOES NOT CONTAIN THE EFFORT COSTS PAID FOR REGISTERING BY THE ACCREDITED CYBER CAFES.

Registration period: To be announced …

Certification Cards / Photo Album:

Each candidate is expected to download a ONE (1) Light copy of the attestation card from the Internet Café where he or she registers.

Please note that: CANDIDATES ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED TO ATTACH YOUR ATTESTATION / PHOTO CARDS TO NECO OFFICES. A CLEAR COPY OF THE DOWNLOADED ATTEST ATION / PHOTO CARD SIGNED BY DULY AND DELETED BY A SUITABLE REFEREE SHOULD BE DURING DURING TESTING.

Blind candidates:

Blind candidates have to register like everyone else. However, you must notify the NECO State Officer of the state in which you wish to write the exam immediately after you register. A copy of the certificate card for each blind candidate should be collected by the civil servant for further action.

Blind candidates and albinos:

Please note that the Albinos and Blind Candidates have to receive 30 minutes extra time for all newspapers.

Central Coordinators:

Headteachers, who will serve as centers for this examination, will be appointed as usual Coordinators. Please contact them to ensure that they provide the necessary support for the successful completion of the exam.
