Georgy Taratorkin, a native of the city on the Neva and a native of a simple family not connected with theatrical and cinematic activities, has played many roles on stage and film sets during his professional activities. According to both critics and spectators, his characters in the most varied roles have always been characterized by a certain emphasis, making them the most lively and natural. George Taratorkin's biography January 11, 1945, the future artist was born in Leningrad. Despite the fact that at the age of seven, George was no longer the father who died after a long serious illness, his mother very often took him along with his sister Vera to the theater. Leningrad TYuZ was their most favorite place, where they gained the most vivid and festive impressions for a long time. After receiving a high school diploma, Taratorkin began working as an illuminator at the Youth Theater. And after a conversation with the art director of the TYU Zinovy Korogodsky, who was able to discern the artistic nature of a thin young man, he goes to study at the studio at the TYuZ, having overcome the competition of a hundred people into place. The debut on the theater stage took place as a student in the middle of the sixties, when Georgy played the role of schoolboy Vitaly Romadin in the play “Dedicated to You.” In 1966, the beginning artist graduated from the theater studio and entered the service of the Leningrad Theater for Young People.
