The Ford Ranger Raptor is not coming to America, but it's interesting to see how the automaker introduces Ranger Storm concept at the São Paulo Motor Show.

Looks just as hard as that Ranger RaptorThe Storm is based on the Ranger Limited and has an aggressive front fascia with a silver sliding plate, which is flanked by sporty air intakes with honeycomb inserts. The special feature of the truck is of course the prominent "STORM" grille, which corresponds to the ETS F-150 Raptor and EcoSport Storm,

If we move further back, we can cover graphics and black plastic panels. The concept also includes a snorkel, a silver roof rack and 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with Pirelli Scorpion MTR tires.

While the Ranger Raptor with Euro specification has a 2.0-liter two-cylinder diesel engine with two turbines and a torque of 210 hp (156 hp) and a torque of 500 Nm (368 lb-ft), the Ranger Storm has Concept a performance of 3.2-liter five-cylinder diesel that develops 197 hp (147 kW / 200 hp) and 470 Nm (346 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission paired with four-wheel drive.

In addition to the Ranger Storm Ford presented the Ranger Black Edition concept. As the name suggests, the truck has a blackout design, as many exterior parts are painted black.

The truck was also equipped with a revised grille, a rear sports bar and unique mirror mountings. Other highlights include redesigned taillights and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The odds of seeing a production version of Black Edition seem pretty strong Ranger Black Edition debuted last year at the IAA in Frankfurt. This model was based on the Ranger Limited and had a completely black body with a sports bar.
