Nissan patrol guiness world record

The Nissan Patrol has broken another Guinness World Records title – this one for the biggest synchronized autotanz. This award recognizes the activation in which most cars move together within a formation. A total of 180 Nissan Patrols participated in the record attempt and drove synchronized in the form of a giant W├╝stenfalken. This new award marks the third time that the Nissan Patrol has achieved a Guinness World Records title.

Nissan reached this new record in the stadium of Rugby 7 in Dubai and beat the previous world record holder by 36 cars. Under the direction of international racing driver Axcil Jefferies, two concentric rows of cars drove in opposite directions around the outlines of a hawk, a total of 1,476 meters. The shape of the 180 Nissan Patrols participating in the trial was 176.5 x 225 meters. Viewed from above, the activation seemed like a giant hawk flying over the sand of the Arabian Desert.

This is the third time the iconic Nissan Patrol has broken a Guinness World Records title. In September 2015, the car broke the record for the fastest climb of a 100-meter-long sand dune with a car, rising in just 4.9 seconds. The first title was achieved in August 2013, when the Nissan Patrol was able to pull the heaviest aircraft in the world over 50 meters at Sharjah International Airport in the United Arab Emirates.

The Guinness World Records official effort was also a celebration of three new issues added to the Nissan Patrol family this month. The Patrol Safari Falcon, Gazelle and Gazelle-X were developed in response to popular demand and were developed exclusively for Middle Eastern customers. The names of the new cars also inspired the form of record-breaking synchronized autotanz.

"At Nissan, we are committed to bringing our customers innovation that excites, and we are pleased to have broken another title with Nissan Patrol at Guinness World Records," said Kalyana Sivagnanam, Regional Vice President of Marketing and Marketing Sales, Nissan AMI and President of Nissan Middle East. "The Patrol family has a unique and special place in the hearts of the people of the Middle East, and we have achieved very pleasing year-over-year sales increases across the range the launch of the Patrol Falcon, Gazelle and Gazelle-X will continue the car's proud legacy as one of the only all-terrain vehicles of its time, and this new Guinness World Records title will be the legendary status of the Patrol in the region. J├╝rgen Schmitz, Managing Director of Nissan Middle East, added, "What sets this achievement apart is the fact that all those who participated in the record attempt were Nissan employees. It was a great privilege to give our employees the opportunity to participate in this milestone. We were so pleased with the enthusiasm of all and the determined determination to achieve that goal. "

The Nissan Patrol series is very popular in the Middle East. Nissan Middle East's fiscal year 17 (April 2016 – March 2017) saw Nissan Patrol's market share increase by 11.4% year-on-year. This made the Patrol the best-selling full-size SUV in the United Arab Emirates. Since 2011, Patrol's turnover has quadrupled and its market share increased by 167%. In addition, sales of the Patrol Safari family in the first half of the current fiscal year of Nissan Middle East (April – September 2018) in the entire Middle East (excluding KSA) increased by 30% over the previous year.

The new title of Nissan Middle East's Guinness World Records is the sixth that the company has achieved. Three of them were awarded the legendary Patrol. Most recently, Nissan Middle East entered the record books after rider Masato Kawabata (Japan) achieved the fastest vehicle drift ever. Kawabata achieved an astonishing 304.96 km / h (189.49 mph) while driving a Nissan GT-R NISMO in April 2016 during an event at Fujairah International Airport.
