"Sentenced to a resident of the Saratov region who used violence against the authorities.
The evidence gathered by the investigative department for the city of Saratov by the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Saratov region was considered sufficient by the court to convict the 32-year-old previously convicted resident of the Saratov region Alexei Podguskov. He was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of violence against a representative of the authorities).
According to the investigation, on September 11, 2018, in the evening, the residents of the Krasny Tekstilshchik village reported to the territorial police department that a company of young people was drinking alcohol and disrupting public order in one of the apartments of the village. To verify this message, the precinct representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs “Saratov” of the Saratov region arrived at the scene.


Arriving at the address, a police officer saw Podguskov, who was intoxicated, who had left the porch and got behind the wheel of the car, on which he began to move along the streets of the settlement. By the measures taken, the vehicle was stopped by the police. A violator was asked by the police officer to go to the territorial police department to compile administrative material. Not wanting to be brought to administrative responsibility, Podguskov expressed a threat of violence to the representative of the authorities, and then inflicted multiple blows to the policeman on his legs, causing physical pain.

In the course of the preliminary investigation and in the court, Podguskov fully admitted the guilt in the act incriminated to him.
He was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 1 year and 8 months from serving a sentence in a penal colony. ”
