Mohamed Salah finished his worst result in a Liverpool jersey and opted for a fiercely contested victory at Huddersfield, which helped his side keep up with Manchester City at the head of the Premier League.
Salah's 50th-minute goal in English football came from a clever low finish when he steered Xherdan Shaqiri through the ball in the 24th minute to dampen Huddersfield's good mood.
The Egyptian striker was visibly impressed after not scoring in his previous four games. However, Huddersfield responded positively when he nearly equalized twice before half-time.
