Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal was fined € 800,000 by a Munich court after being charged in 2017 with another man's nightclub fight.

The mirror Report that Arturo Vidal may have been serving a 10-year prison sentence but got away with a fine after slapping his victim with a vodka bottle over his head.

Vidal was fined 80 days and found to be earning 10,000 euros a day under his new Barcelona contract.

The player and his half-brother were both found guilty of attacking another man at the Munich Crown Club in September last year, with the brawl caught in front of the camera.

The incident occurred after Bayern's 4-0 win over Mainz. The player went to Munich to celebrate at the popular Oktoberfest celebration, after which he continued the party in the VIP lounge of the aforementioned establishment.

Vidal's father-in-law was also fined 35,267 euros, while his younger brother Sandrino was fined 18,004 euros.

The midfielder was absent at the hearing as he played for Chile against Mexico. But he was asked to pay the fine in 10,000 Euro installments over 80 days.
