2019 PTDF scholarship now ongoing and it is a scholarship that you should not miss. They pay very well on their local and overseas scholarship. Application deadline for the ptdf scholarship 2019 is November 16, 2018.

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) is a statutory body of the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Reserves, which was founded to develop and promote petroleum technology and to cover the labor needs of the oil and gas industry through research and training Nigerians.

In order to ensure a consistent implementation of this mandate, PTDF invites applications from suitable candidates for MSc and PhD scholarships abroad and in the country.

How to Apply for Ptdf Scholarship 2018

NOTE: The application is limited to federal universities only

The online application form can be accessed via the internet APPLICATION WEBSITE: www.ptdf.gov.ng free for applicants. For instructions on accessing the online form, visit the PTDF website. Applicants are asked to read the requirements before applying. To start the application process, applicants must enter their e-mail address and select a password for a PIN. The generated pin would allow the applicants to access the form and complete their biodata.

QUALIFICATION FOR PTDF SCHOLARSHIP 2019

  • Undergraduate,
  • Master and
  • promotion

Undergraduate:

  • Applicants must be full-time students at one of the federal universities
  • candidate Got to be in her second year of study
  • The program should relate to the oil and gas industry
  • Students need to be at the university in 2017/18 Academic year just
  • Have 5 credits in WAEC / SSCE / NECO including English language and math
  • Have a cumulative minimum average (CGPA) of 3.5 on the scale of 5 or 3.0 on a scale of 4, which equates to 2.1 in the first year 2017/18 batch of students
  • Applicants should submit their transcripts for the first year of study
  • Have a cumulative minimum average (CGPA) of 3.5 on the scale of 5 or 3.0 on a scale of 4, which equates to 2.1 in the first year 2017/18 batch of students
  • Applicants should submit their transcripts for the first year of study

MSc.

  1. Applicants must have a full time admission notice in one of the federal universities
  2. A minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) in an oil and gas field or 2.2 with at least 2 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry;
  3. Have at least 5 credits in WAEC / SSCE / NECO scores;
  4. National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate or charter;
  5. Applicants must have computer literacy;
  6. Admission notice to the university;
  7. Transcript;
  8. Proof of the country of origin and the local government;
  9. A personal statement of at least 1000 words stating the reasons for the study;
  10. Current passport photo

doctorate

  1. Applicants must have a full time admission notice in one of the federal universities
  2. A minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) in an oil and gas-related field or a 2.2 with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry;
  3. Have at least 5 credits in WAEC / SSCE / NECO scores,
  4. National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate or charter;
  5. Applicants must have computer literacy;
  6. A minimum of 2.2 in her first degree and a minimum of merit as a Secondary Certificate in an oil and gas related discipline;
  7. Valid letter of acceptance of not more than one year;
  8. Academic transcripts;
  9. Proof of the country of origin and the local government;
  10. The research area must be relevant to the oil and gas industry;
  11. PhD research proposal of no more than 6 pages on topics, introduction, literature research, research question (s), novelty, methodology, type of data collection, expected results, relevance to the industry and related references
  12. Current passport photo

DOCUMENTS FOR SCANNING AND ATTACHING TO THE PTDF APPLICATION FORM

Applicants are encouraged to scan the following documents and attach them to their online application forms:

  1. First Degree Certificate or Statement of Result;
  2. NYSC layoff certificate;
  3. WAEC / GCE / SSCE / NECO results;
  4. 2 current passport photos;
  5. Local Government identification letter;
  6. Master's degree (PhD applicants only); and
  7. acceptance letter (PhD).
