Communications Minister Adebayo Shittu has filed a lawsuit against the ruling APC for disqualifying him as a governor candidate in the state of Oyo for failure to submit the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate.

"Whether the first defendant's authorization to disqualify the applicant from participating in his main election for the nomination of the governor's candidate of the first defendant in the state of Oyo for the 2019 elections was revoked on the grounds that the plaintiff does not do so have the certificate of release / exemption of the National Youth Service Corps;

4. "Whether it is not a refusal of the fair trial enshrined in Section 36 (1) of the 1999 Constitution, as amended, that the first defendant allegedly accused the claimant of contesting the governor's election in Oyo State under the platform of 1.
