Federal government Nigeria has told Nigerians in the United States that they should return home and help develop an ideal nation that everyone longs for, and give them reassurance that things are going for the better.

The appeal was presented by the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. med. Ogbonnaya Onu in a series of city hall meeting with Nigerians in the United States.

Dr. Onu was in the United States to sensitize the Nigerians in America in the presidential executive order signed by the president Buharito improve local public procurement content with science, technology and technology components.

The regulation aims to promote the application of science, technology and innovation to the achievement of Nigerian development goals in all sectors of the country economy,

The minister said:

"Please, we want you to come home, it's important, not everyone will return, but some may come home, and that's the essence." We tell you that things are changing in Nigeria, that's the message , that's why I'm here.

I have heard all the complaints that people are going to make and nobody is answering and all that and so on; Yes, these are things that have happened in the past and we can not fix these things overnight. That's the truth, there's no way to make those changes and then make the corrections and everything overnight. But the most important thing is that there is a change ".

Onu called on Nigerians to make patriotic decisions about their country and said, "We can not wait until Nigeria is all right before we can go home."
