The Federal Government has reached agreements to integrate a further 300,000 beneficiaries into the second round of its N-Power Volunteers Corp from 1 August 2018.

Mr. Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to Vice President of Media and Public Relations, announced this in a press release on Thursday.

Akande said that with 200,000 existing beneficiaries, 500,000 unemployed Nigerian graduates will be beneficiaries of the scheme by August, which is an integral part of the government's national social investment programs.

He said that the N-Power Volunteer Corp program was developed for all Nigerians regardless of their background and is currently located in the 36 states and federal capital territory.

Akande, working with all of N-Power's partners, said that the new beneficiaries would be dispatched immediately to their designated primary sites on or before that date.

He said, "The final selection lists, broken down into each of the three N-Power components in the states / municipalities, will be distributed to all central states and FCTs by Friday, July 20, 2018.

"All successfully deployed second-tier N-Power beneficiaries will be hired from 1 August 2018 until 31 July 2020 for a two-year period.

"To qualify for their first monthly salary of N30,000 by August 31, 2018, all posted volunteers are expected to submit their stamped and signed resume confirmation on or before August 10th on their N-Power portal page. 2018. "

Under the N-Power program, unemployed Nigerian graduates have been trained and educated in various areas of public service such as education (N-Teach), health (N-Health), agriculture (N-Agro) and building / construction ( N-build).
