The Chrysler had a few legs on the Mazda, offering both a narrow but usable rear seat and a much wider dealer base for sales and service. But is it stacking today?

The Conquest was built by Mitsubishi Motors in Nagoya, Japan, and was based on the Galant / Sapporo platform. At that time, Chrysler held shares in Mitsubishi and related a ton of their smaller bids from the Japanese company's goods. The Conquest was also sold by Mitsubishi dealers as a Starion with nearly identical styling and kit.

Both cars started in a narrow body, but with Starion ESi-R and Conquest TSi they got thick front and rear fenders. This intercooled mill proved well for 176 horsepower, which could move the 2,860-pound car with reasonable willingness.

The interior is remarkably neat and clean, with stunning '80s orange markings and less amazing' 80s mousettes to tie you up. There are a few signs of wear and tear on the driver's upholstery, but otherwise everything looks perfect. A standard stereo system provides hours of entertainment – just by looking at all the little buttons and buttons.

On the other hand, the seller notices that the air conditioner is leaking, and it's a Freon system, so lucky with it. As already mentioned, it is claimed that the driver's door has some problems with the painting, but not in the pictures. The seller further states that the TBI must be cleaned to avoid hesitation under load. I'd bet that if it was as easy as draining a can of Seafoam through the system, the seller would have done that. I would check that carefully before buying.

The two main aspects of the car that could be considered questionable are the Borg Warner Overdrive, which is automatically paired with the 2.6, and the damn black bra the car wears in the ad. It's my humble opinion that when it comes to bras for women and cars, you better get one that fits or you'll have a bad time. I have a bra like this one in the Conquest that came with my S30 Datsun. I have never taken it out of the box. The question here is whether the bra of this conquest was worn anywhere in the color as these things do over time.

Okay, that's the good, the bad, and a bit in between in this conquest. Now is the time to look at its price. That's $ 10,777, and I want to point out that, as beautiful as this car is, that craving a shit ton is higher than this car the Jalop Matt77 sent me.
