The Progressive Congress Gubernatorial (APC), Dr. Ing. Kayode Fayemi has provided the residents of Ekiti with adequate security on July 14 when they will go to polls to elect a new governor.

Fayemi called for voters to come out and exercise their civil rights and not be intimidated by Governor Ayo Fayose's alleged threats on election day.

The APC flag bearer stated that the incumbent governor will be imprisoned on the day of the election, as he (Fayose) will only be allowed to vote and return to his home in Afao.

He said: –

"We will ensure adequate security for voters on election day, because if you are not well protected, the choice will not be free, broad, credible, transparent, genuine and acceptable

"Fayose can not threaten or intimidate anyone on election day. Fayose will only be allowed to vote and he will return to his home in Afao. "

Fayemi, speaking to the municipalities in Ido / Osi on Thursday during an election campaign, said he was on a mission to save Ekiti people from poverty, misery, bad governance and put the state on the path of good governance, Progress and Development.

Municipalities visited by Fayemi include Ifaki, Orin, Ora, Aaye, Ifisin, Igbole, Osi, Ido, Ilogbo, Usi and Ayetoro, where more leaders and members of the People's Democratic Party (PDP)

Fayemi was accompanied at the rallies by the Deputy Governors' Assembly, Chief Bisi Egbeyemi, Ekiti APC Chairman, Chief Olajide Awe, former Minister of Labor, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, former Speaker of the House of Assembly, Dr Adewale Omirin, former member of the House of Assembly, Ms. Bunmi Oriniowo and a Senator aspirant, Dr. Olusegun Osinkolu.

The APC flag bearer said, Fayose, his party, PDP, and the candidate, Prof. Kolapo Olusola, have nothing to present in these communities in the last three and a half years, which noted that the projects enjoyed by the people were the ones that he (Fayemi) performed in his first term.

Fayemi said projects such as civic centers, health centers, five kilometers of community roads, school renovations and hospitals are showcase projects that will weaken votes in favor of APC.

He promised that all human capital development measures, such as paying monthly grants to old, free health services, free education and payment of WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and JAMB fees for high school students will return the movement an APC government takes over in October.

He said this was an act of responsibility He should call himself a friend of civil servants and teachers and, despite the financial relief of the Federal Government

Former Minister for mining and steel development said the PDP would meet their Waterloo on election day as the allegedly betrayed Ekiti people of the umbrella party would show the way out of the government building.

He called on Party members and voters to return to their units and note that elections are won not in the social media but in the polling stations.

Fayemi added: –

"Let's deal with them (PDP) With our votes we'll give them a bloody nose on July 14, because today's Fayemi is different than Thursday.

"If the PDP people come here, they have nothing to promote, and that's why they fall back on lies, but they've exhausted their lies.

"Go to your units, vote and protect your votes The election will not be made on Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp, voting will take place in the polling stations.

" APC will give our people a better life We've done it before and with your support we'll do it again because our legacies are everywhere to see the state for everyone.
