Each week we've risen somewhat in size or utility – hatchback came first, then sedans trucks and wagons . But in this fifth entry, we disassemble things again to cover the dreams of the Crapwagon coupes.

If you scroll through your last week's car selection, it wins the ribbon:

It is the # 39; 92 Mitsubishi Diamante wagon.Luxurious in design and styling, it was the upper-end alternative to the plebeian Camry and Accord alternatives. They are so rare that props go to Tonyola for this suggestion, and the Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback Ralliart was close to second by the way – let's get to the coupes.

The now familiar list of rules for the C rawwagon Garage Game:

  1. A Crapwagon must be a vehicle that is relatively easy to find and buy on the Internet.
  2. All vehicles in the Crackwagon garage must have been sold as new to the North American market.
  3. These vehicles must be available to the casual crawwagon collector (CCC). That means in clean, running condition everyone asks $ 7,000 or less on a normal day.
  4. Your suggestions must fit into the vehicle category of the week. If you do not like the category, that's hard. We will eventually come to a category that you like.
  5. This garage game has five rules, and that's the maximum number of vehicles you can submit for each section. Only five.

All coupes this week will have a hard-top and a real trunk (no liftback / hatchback). If one of your choices was sold as both a coupe and a convertible, the former is a good choice. But if a vehicle had a removable hardtop as a standard or factory option and a soft top underneath it is invalid. No Chrysler TC or last generation Thunderbirds here today. My first choice:

 Image Acura

The Acura Legend Coupé of the first generation. The purity of the first generation has been somewhat reduced by the bloated and luxurious design and the second-generation features. Bicolor and fan alloys are just right for me, as are the frameless windows. Not many are out there, but there are some .

And here is another coupe that comes to mind – a Volvo 780 in the style of Bertone. These were very expensive and not so popular (still not), as no one turned to Volvo for their luxury coupe needs. They can be found in good or usable condition at cheap prices and have interiors of serious Swedish luxury.

Let's hear your coupe picks, and make sure they are not lightbacks .
