In an upcoming software update for the Xbox One support will be added for digital assistants such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. For those who want to be able to control their Xbox One by voice, this is a great introduction.
Following a screenshot of Windows Central simply adds the "Digital Assistants" option to the settings in the Xbox Settings. In this section, you can turn on Enable Digital Assistants and let Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, or Cortana give you the power to (potentially) control your Xbox.
From there you need to open Google Assistant or Alexa to add an Xbox One capability and fully connect the two. After that is done, you will be able to … do something. A list of features is currently unknown.
Should it start to roll, we'll let you know!
