BMW today announced a new partnership with the Drone Racing League (DRL), which will assist the brand with the development of future drones with its wind tunnel and host a race at BMW Headquarters in July. The penultimate race of the season will take place on July 28th in Munich and the fans will see pros at work.

DRL organizes one of the largest global drone racing series, the DRL Alliance World Championship, in the Elite FPV (First Person View) pilots drive custom DRL drones through complex, three-dimensional courses in iconic venues around the world. As official partner, BMW will bring the penultimate race of the 2018 season to Munich in the BMW Welt on July 28th. The race will be broadcast this fall in more than 75 countries in leading sports programs such as ProSieben.
