Omamen Iyawe, a wife of the Abuja pastor, reportedly collapsed on March 4, 2018, during a worship ceremony at StandPoint Church in Abuja.
The mother of one and the wife of Pastor Idahosa Iyawe, a pastor in The Church was described as an admirable example and source of inspiration for many people in and outside the StandPoint Church.

She was called to glory on March 4, 2018. It was a glorious exit. When Grandma, deeply and intensely lost in worship, raised her hands, she was called to a higher place of praise and worship.
Granny was a beautiful soul, an admirable luminous example, and a source of inspiration for many people in and outside the StandPoint Church
grandma will surely and terribly be missed by many. We cry and we grieve, but we are also pleased with this glorious translation because we know that Omamen Iyawe is alive not in our past but in our future. "And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died, so you will not mourn like people who have no hope."
