Acer announced a portable computer Chromebook 11 C732, running the operating system Chrome OS.
The laptop is designed for use in the educational sphere. The device is made in accordance with the standards IP41 and MIL-STD 810G, which indicates an increased strength, protection from shocks and falls.
The display has a size of 11.6 inches diagonally. Users will be able to choose between versions with and without touch control. The resolution is 1366 × 768 pixels.
A processor of the Apollo Lake generation, manufactured using 14-nanometer technology, was used. Acer will offer versions with a chip Celeron N3350 and Celeron N3450. The first of the named processors contains two computing cores and an Intel HD Graphics 500 graphics accelerator. The nominal clock frequency is 1.1 GHz, the forced clock frequency is 2.4 GHz. The second chip has four cores with a frequency of 1.1 GHz (increased to 2.2 GHz) and an Intel HD Graphics 500 controller.
The memory capacity can reach 8 GB, the capacity of the flash module is 64 GB. There are Bluetooth wireless adapters 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and optionally a 4G module for connection to mobile networks can be installed.
