India Yamaha engine (IYM) has introduced the Yamaha FZS-FI 2018 with a disc brake on the rear axle. The bike comes in Armada Blue color and costs INR 86,042, Ex Showroom, Delhi.
2018 Yamaha FZS-FI comes with a new alloy wheel and new rear-view mirrors. Yamaha introduced the motorcycle at the beginning of the FZ series's 10-year presence in the country. Mr. Roy Kurian, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Said:

Tirelessly popular with Indian bikers for nearly 10 years since launching in India and with over a million hearts, it has been crowned the "master of the roads" by the collective culture of motorcycling. While maintaining its bestselling features such as build and look, superior engine technology, fuel economy and suspension, the new additions will delight current and new customers.
The Yamaha FZ-S FI 2018 receives a FZ "Shield" logo on the tank and the Tuning Fork logo on the tank extensions. The FZ-S logo is available in the rear area. Instead of a rear drum brake comes the Yamaha FZ-S FI 2018 with a 220 mm disc unit at the rear. The front end has a 282 mm disc. ABS is missing.
The Yamaha FZ-2018 S FI continues with the same 149 cc single-cylinder fuel injection engine. The SOHC 2-valve engine delivers 13.2 horsepower at 8000rpm and 12.8Nm of torque at 6000rpm. The engine works together with a 5-speed gearbox. The instrument cluster is completely digital and also receives an eco warning light. This motorcycle is INR 3,000 more expensive than the standard variant.
