As part of its efforts to boost economic growth and create ample employment opportunities in the country, the Senate will hold a special negotiation on youth employment and entrepreneurship on Monday.
The purpose of the hearing, according to a statement by the Media Bureau of the President of the Senate, Dr. Ing. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, among other things, is to provide briefings on the ongoing federal government programs designed to address issues related to job creation and entrepreneurship.
The statement added that the public hearing "Youth Work and Entrepreneurship as a follow-up to the Senate's Youth Development Roundtable on 9 October 2017, where several MDAs provided valuable reports and recommendations for state youth intervention programs
" The public hearing will take place on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 11 am to 2 pm in room 231 of the new Senate building.
"The Senate has collaborated with a coalition of civil society organizations (CSOs) The project aims to promote citizen participation in the National Assembly's decision-making process," she said.
