Lukaku's 6-Match Goal Drought has further influenced the previously smooth relationship between him and the Manchester United fans.
Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has told club fans not to judge him as a finished article.
Lukaku said it was unfair to expect him to be perfect at this stage, adding, "You can not judge me as the finished article."
The 24-year-old has made an impressive start at Old Trafford following his move from Everton this summer, who has already scored 11 goals and is currently suffering a scoreline.
Lukaku told Sky Sports' Thiersry Henry that there are more than just shots in his game, but he accepts that he has room for improvement.
He said: –
I think many people judge me as the finished article. I'm 24 – you can not judge me as the finished article.
"I'd rather have a year of improving myself, improving myself, improving myself instead of going straight to the top and then descending.
"I know, I have a lot of talent, I can do a lot, scoring goals with my left, right and head, but I want to be a creator – I want more assists, I want to make sure my team Has difficulties and can count on me.
"I'm on the perfect stage and age, I want to be a winner and take my career to the next level.
