Knit & Purl Mama: Large Alabama pillow Knitting

This is a shop pattern that I knitted in the summer. I wanted to show how the yarn (Katia Big Alabama) is knitted. The pillow took 5 strands of the yarn with no residue. I … ittuffed the cusion with 2 pillows to fill it. It was an interesting project. I’m not sure if I would knit that again. If I did that again, I would use a much chunkier yarn. This pattern doesn’t appear to be on Ravelry. It is Katia’s big Alabama pillow, Their video shows that they are not closing the bottom of their pillow, but I closed mine on both ends. For Halloween we put on the pillow and had it on display in our shop window. One thing I noticed in the pattern is that they don’t tell you in words how many stitches you need to cast. In the legend 63p, however, it says. P = stitches. So you throw 63 stitches and it is seed stitch / moss stitch for the entire rectangle.
